Don't North Carolina send 4 teams, no matter what the records? I thought that was a rule.
If it was say Nebraska or someone like that and they had exact same record and everything then no they're NIT bound, but since it's Duke, they're in, but after 1 game, they're OUT!!

duke will wind up with a 5 seed. they'll beat a #12 seed and struggle with the 2nd round. more than likely, they'll be in the sweet 16. it's duke for God's sake.

Good ol Duke bias. I remember a Bryant Stith-led Virginia squad at something like 25-8 (9-7 in the ACC) getting the shaft and heading to the NIT (where they thumped the field on the way to the NIT championship).
